I found some candles, scarfs, and pocket squares on the site, maybe an umbrella. But I don't need them.

↓ I have some GC to spend(just received), also have some store credit expire soon. Maybe somewhere in April.

I was wondering why you were so itching to buy some shit on there even if you didn't quite need it. I hate when that happens... hang on to it until you can use it for something good.

Spend it, m8!

Though not at Mr. Porter cuz it's a gouge at retail.

I don't recommend much at full retail, especially at J. Crew, but this Kato AAA madras shirt is sweet; I own both and love 'em. It's cut small so size up one. If you need details on measurement PM me. No use waiting because the Kato shirts are never discounted.

What's your budget?

If you are into denim, brands like Jean Shop or Levi's Vintage Clothing are worth the price and don't go on sale as often.

Or get some underwear, you know you always need that. (Or, do you?)

It is always tempting to get something when there is $$ at your disposal.Sometimes, it is wise to just wait it out and later get something you really wanted that was not available for some reason back then.

I recently found out that all my clothes were shit and threw everything out and started over.  I bought several items at full retail over the past few months (chinos, sweaters, button ups, etc.).  I was thinking now would be the time to find good deals but everything seems to be sold out in my size (small).  Am I too late, or will there be additional sales before Spring?  I'd really like to find a nice jacket for next year and some more button up shirts. Park & Bound had some Gitman Vintage on sale for $34!  Too bad I missed out on that. A link for a good deal on a button up shirt, a jacket and maybe a sweater would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for the help!

I have about 1000 GC and 1000 store credit about to expire in May? Cannot remember anyway.

If I cannot find anything I like maybe I'll just buy a bag an umbrella and some pocket squares

Technically, you could buy something worth a grand in May and return it within a month to get another year of store credit, then wait for the January 80% off sale to blow it icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

If you're eyeballing that umbrella with the city map of London underneath it you've got to get it. That's the coolest, classiest umbrella I've ever seen and how many umbrellas do you need in your life? Like two if they're high quality.

A couple other items I've seen or had experience with there:

  • Gucci Brown Lace Dress Shoes -- The goodyear welted ones are great quality and classy in an understated way (for Gucci)
  • Incotex Slim Fit Gray Trousers -- Everyone needs a pair of these. 7" leg opening and 8.5" rise is awesome
  • Oliver Peoples Old School Sunglasses

or maybe you could sell your credit on ebay or forum.
