Anyone know where to buy a high-quality scarf at a discount? I need something rather long (70''+) Let me know!

Walk-over shoes are great imo. You guys should have gotten them if prep style is what you guys are into. I got myself a pair a few months back and have yet to wear them. They are well made though.

How are they compared to McNairy which is just a bit more on sale? And how's the width?

Also in regards to Unionmade, anybody get their order yet? They charged my card Saturday but I've gotten no shipping notifications and they haven't answered emails nor their phone.

I have not tried on any Mcnairy stuff. From what i hear, they are around the same quality as walk-over. Walk-Over shoes are made in USA while the Mcnairy ones i believe are made in the UK by Sanders. I am not sure if the info i got from reading write-ups online are completely true as to their origin. I will not buy them at retail. Anywhere less that 100bucks, i think they are good for that much sought after prep look with white bucks.

I feel like Sanders is the UK equivalent of Walk Over, they even do some of the contrasting welt/sole designs the same

I think Sanders/McNairy make a more aesthetically pleasing product. The quality of Walk Over might be the same, but they look a little cheaper.

Prolly because Walk Over doesn't really experiment with any other soles than red buck soles

I purchased over the weekend and my card was charged, then I had no confirmation or shipping notification all week. I just received an email that the item I paid for was sold "out from under" me to someone in-store. Too bad they didn't figure this out untlil the charges (which were pending for 2-3 days) actually posted to my account. Still waiting for the refund...

I own several pairs of McNairy's and they are awesome. Today I'm wearing a derby boot with ridgeway sole and and its one of my favorite shit (or in this case, snow) kickers.
In my experience the McNairy shoes are well built and very comfortable.
I've been close to purchasing walkovers in the past but every time i've handled them i just haven't been impressed.
they don't feel substantial or all that well made.I'd venture to guess that if you were blindfolded and someone put a walkover buck and a bass buck in each hand you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I was charged on Saturday and still haven't received a shipping confirmation. Could just be swamped. Never bought from them.
