I find it strange that they offer oxblood and emerald in the skinny cut, but not a standard navy or lighter khaki color.
How does the Skinny cut fit in the upper block, though?
Not sure whether to make a purchase of these at 30% off, or to save my money for other Black Friday sales. redface.gif

Get a pair or two you won't regret it. I currently rotate between 4 pairs of Gios and picked up a pair in the "Leaf" color today via the sale. They do have standard colors, like the guy above said, Seal Gray, Vintage Khaki, Black, can't get more basic than that. The thing that set's the Gios apart, is that pretty much all colors (black aside) have something unique to them, shade wise.

You rarely need to pay full price on Gio's, but i can tell you that you likely won't find them cheaper than the 30% they are runnig at now.

Okay, guys, maybe there was a bit of exaggeration in my previous post. I was more of lamenting over the lack of a navy color than anything else. smile.gif

Thanks for the help, though, guys! How "skinny" is the skinny cut in comparison to the regular Gio pants? I'm not a super skinny guy by any means, but the regular Gio doesn't look like it's cut really all that slim.

I think I'll pick up a pair of them to try out. Tonio mentioned to me that he took the same size in the Gios as he did in Epaulet chinos, so I think I'll go with his sizing advice and pick up a pair of 31s.

I do take the same size in Epaulet and Unis Gios. Check your PMs.

Nice. I see you're in Seattle area, what kinda stuff does that Barney's stock? Will most of the good stuff still be there on the third? Does Neimans do a sale around then too?

Got a mailing from Barneys that they're having a big sale this week. 40-60% off items.

Actually I'm in Las Vegas this week. Haven't been to Seattle Barney's in a couple months. It's mostly coop stuff with a few designers.
Bellevue NM is pretty horrific although my wife tells me the women's shoe department is good. I think NM first call presale or whatever the hell they call it has started.

Seattle Barneys had some nice mmm sweaters when I was there maybe two months ago. Pretty decent selection of other stuff too but I can't recall what.
