This is my 2nd redo from Proper Cloth, their service has been great so far! They offered to redo the shirt for free, since the 1st redo didn't turn out to be a very good fit. I'd like any feedback I can get on this fit.

Any specific critiques would be greatly appreciated!

were you measured or did you just give them some measurements

you are not an easy fit.
wide shoulders narrow torso
squarish shoulder in front
sloping in back

armholes look to high.

forearms too narrow.
button the collar plelase

+1 on all of this. Remember though, the amount of time and money invested in the endeavor should relate to your goal - great fit compared to OTR, or 'perfect' fit. About half of my shirt wardrobe is close to perfect fit, whereas the other half is only perfect appearing with a jacket and tie on. Since I wear those two items 99% of the time, I don't sweat it too much.

Well, just a little...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm not near NY, so I'm unable to get measured from Proper Cloth. However, since they offered to redo the shirt, with a few changes based on the pictures I sent, I took them up on their offer.

Other local custom shirt makers, such as venicecustomshirts (which was linked last time), priced their shirts from $140-300 per shirt, with a minimum order of 2 shirts. That is pretty expensive for my budget and I can't really justify spending that much money on a dress shirt at this time.

That's an awful looking shirt, return it and get your money back.

Rippling across shoulders may indicate too tight in that area when buttoned up. Upper arms baggy. Sleeves perhaps too long, but will shrink after a few washes so be sure you're taking that into account with this whole thing. Waist could be snugger but that's also a matter of personal preference, not everyone likes their shirts skin tight. Send Proper Cloth these photos and see what they offer w/r/t alteration. In my experience they do indeed have excellent customer service.

wow GBR is right and me as shirtmaker agree. Get your money back.I do shirts over the mail and would jump out the window if i delivered such a thing and with such a high price for thebad fit. Different shoulder heights and slope even has not been corrected.

Only ok if you had paid 30 not 150.

If memory serves Proper Cloth can adjust for the differing shoulder heights/slope. I still recommend dealing with them and nailing the fit down; afterwards you'll have a template for many a fine shirt.

Also, SartodiNapoli, he never stated the price - could have been as low as $85 with two free rounds of alterations included. Help the guy out, he's already made an investment in the shirt and service.

I think i readed 150$ . If shirtwaven and me do help but then the factory is limited to very basic pattern adjust it won't help and will frustrate more the guy. What could me or we do? i will for sure.

Thanks again for the 2nd round of feedback

The shirt was around 90. I guess the consensus is that the shirt is still a not-so-good fit. I'll send these photos back and see if they can pinpoint a finer fit. I'd really like to have a fit set with Proper Cloth, as ordering new shirts would be very easy once they have all the shirt measurements in their database.

If this doesn't work out, I'd be interested in the best bang for your buck shirt maker, where I can get measured somewhere close to Los Angeles.
