After j said that my Levi 501's made me look like I had child bearing hips, I thought it wise to investigate the alternatives.

The postman popped this through the letterbox today.

I'm impressed.

nice. There's something sculpturally artistic about a new pair of raw jeans, unworn. eps closeups of the hardware/details

Nice, John. They are a terrific jean I was wondering what it is you'd gotten. Picture? I personally prefer the 21 cm, which I find more versatile) but the 19 cm is more popular here. Which did you get?

Way too big on the waist I'm afraid, on the way back and a smaller pair on the way, I'm assuming these won't shrink?

Having said that I still think they are/will be a great fit, even too big they were really good.

Clasp, apparently quite sturdy since a lot of people size down a few times and stretch the hell out of the fly.

146 pounds? thats a pretty good deal isn't it? I always though diors were $450+

Yes on the true waist size. On the shrinkage I'm not sure, maybe thats why they are too big. I have emailed Dior but fear their knowledge of such matters may be lacking even more so than mine, I may have to throw myself on the mercy of the young rascals here at SWD and beg for advice.

Barney (?) or some other NYC stores sell them for $315 IIRC. Also available through member TheGrapist here and over at sufu for that price + a lil service charge.
