I have 5 colors coming in today, will try and get some more pics up.

Edit: Here they are, amazing in person. Lighter weight than I expected which is fantastic, easily wearable for 3 seasons imo up here in Canada I would think.

Medium Grey

Medium Blue

Rick,

Do you have any of your custom oxford fabric planned in staple colors of gingham or tattersall patterns?

Those pictures are exactly what I wanted. Gonna order a pair of the blue, the green and burgundy aren't exactly what I'm after.

I would say the green and burgundy are a bit darker in real life. I think I'm going to stick with the mid grey, mid blue, and burgundy in case any 32 contemporary wearers missed out on the tan or green. Saves me some money to use for the oxfords.

Quick fit pics. First experience with the SM trousers and need to get used to the higher rise. I've been wearing Rivet Chinos and Bowerys for so long. The fit is quite nice, classic enough with a bit of modern sleekness. I normally like a smaller leg opening but the stock opening works great with the material so I might not even alter that. Ignore the beefrolls, just grabbed something easy to slip on.

Got my pairs of flannel in light brown and the green.  They're for lack of a better word, awesome.  Slim fit was perfect as well.  Maybe could've used a bit more rise but that may be something I'm used to but perhaps don't need.

Trying to talk myself out of the mid blue and charcoal and sadly (or luckily?), the medium gray are all done in 32s.

Super glad I was able to purchase them.

@Burzan did you ever try the slim fit? Looks like there is some room to spare in these contemporaries.

+1

The era of stuffing oneself into dress shirts must end.

Burzan, I hope you don't mind if I ask how tall you are? I wore my size 32 Contemporary fit brushed houndstooth trousers for the first time today and I felt that they looked mighty slim. I'm 6'2", approx 165 lbs. Perhaps the flannel trousers are cut a bit roomier, because they look to fit differently. My legs openings certainly don't cover 1/2 the length of my shoes.

I have not tried the slim fit but my thighs don't normally work well in too many slim fits, the size chart looked about right on the contemporary in the waist and thigh (@CanadaCal confirmed my thoughts on the contemporary being the best to go with). I'm actually down about 12 pounds on a diet but will be bulking back up shortly so they will fill out nicely.

I think so too. They seem to fit pretty close to ideal for the style I think.

I'm 5'9" and 167 at the moment but am normally around 175-180. Shoe size is an 8 so that probably explains the pants covering half the shoe haha. Part of the reason I typically like a smaller opening.

Rick, thumbs up with all the great offerings recently but (just some constructive criticism here) the CS side of things could use some work. The past few times I've reached out via email for support I've either gotten no reply or a reply many days later. I think I emailed nearly a week ago for a return label for a pair of trousers I ordered a few weeks back and radio silence. I know there are growing pains given your success and more $$$ on CS doesn't have the return on investment new offerings do - but it's always nice ordering knowing any potential issues will be resolved swiftly. I know in the past I've had to pester you via SF to get a problem solved and you sorted it out for me personally but it shouldn't have to be that way.

Hey Rick,

How is sizing for the new suits? Exact same as the old ones? As I only see contemporary sizes online atm.

I know I mentioned it over in the dappered forum not sure if I mentioned it here. Our online CS rep who was with us since August left with short notice and finding a replacement has been a difficult task to say the least. We have one candidate that should be joining ua this week to get us back on track.

Pm me the order# I'll get it looked after.

Wife hated the Contemporary fit haha, so she has me ordering my fav colors in the slim fit to compare. On that note, @spiermackay I placed an order for a 33 in the mid grey but need a 32. Any chance the in store inventory has one? If not I will try the 33 and take in the waist if they work. I placed a note on the order but hoping you may be able to confirm for me Rick. I can PM the order number if needed but I just placed it a few min ago.

I agree. It looks a little too roomy.

Edit, but it looks like you can just have it altered. The Slim maybe too slim?

I have chicken legs so even the slim fit in dress pants, I have them taken in the legs a little. However on the chino's they fit fine
