I picked up the pink linen in store.  It looks and fits amazing.  Says cotton, but it's 100% linen.  Happy with it as well as i can roll the sleeves.  The white original one is a tad tight.

My Kamakura shirts are soft and unlined, but with the collar stays in they look just as formal and clean. If ironing becomes the issue, the I also have some other shirts with a super soft, but fused collar which is easy to iron. I would prefer the standard S&M collar to be softer, as it would be more comfortable, and allows you to wear it "stiff" with collar stays or soft and spretzy without. I like that versatility. Just one man's opinion.

I would prefer softer collars - I did a softer collar on a custom shirt and it came out nice. I love Kamakura's collars. I think SM goes a more formal route, similar to CT.

WWHHHHYYYYY!!! I imagine it's nice from a sellers standpoint to sell out rather than hold inventory, but it would be nice from a buyers standpoint to be able to buy these whenever the mood strikes.  I just picked up the pink linen BD, white linen spread, and blue linen spread.  It would be nice if the pinpoint BDs and OCBDs were available year around.  Great products.  Keep em coming.  Still waiting on those university stripe OCBDs.

Edit: That marine blue makes my stomach hurt.  I kinda like it on the low though.

They did a light blue linen and white linen BD already.  I have the full spread collar on a few of my S&M shirts.  It's a great collar.  I know some people have issue wearing ties with linen shirts, but I think this would look great with a tie and sport coat or just with a sport coat and no tie.  Great in the spring and summer when you want to look put together, but it's too hot for other fabrics.

@spiermackay, will you be selling any OTR shirts with the italian semi spread collar?

Ended up ordering three suits - will report back when I receive them. Thanks to all for the input, it ultimately pushed me in favour of giving SM a whirl.

I grabbed the light blue, white, and blue stripe. Along w/ the two button-downs, the previous cotton-linen plaid, and last year's two linen spread dress shirts, I have a nice rotation of work-friendly shirts for the Texas heat. I'm with you, totally fine wearing these spread collars without a tie but made up in an Italian semi-spread they would have been even better.

I'd love some pics of the Italian semi spread if anyone has some.

Bought a new iPhone on Monday with Apple Care, dropped it and broke the screen yesterday lol, so back to Apple tonight to pay to have it repaired. Could not be worse timing for these shirts to be dropping as I will have spent nearly $1000 on this phone in the last two days so my wallet is begging for mercy lol.

Love the Marine blue, light pink linen, light blue pinpont. I also love the stripe but wish it was button down collar.
