Guys, I want to get a couple of MTM shirts made in the new linen fabrics, what exactly should I be asking in terms of design features so they are a not a sad saggy mess?  Particularly, is there a way to make the collar retain its shape?

Hi Rick, When do we get OTR linen shirts? Did you decide on the design?

Nice looking linens.

Rick, how wrinkle resistant would you say the linens are? Would they last as well as twill through the day or is that not reasonable considering it's linen after all.

The light blue is lovely. Is there a decent amount of cloth avail? Also looking forward to those cotton/linen

Twill is one of the most naturally wrinkle resistant fabrics out there, I'd be extremely surprised if they were comparable.

Linen is going to wrinkle, its supposed to.   Its part of the look, cut it a bit looser and enjoy it.  Linen has great surface texture so a few extra wrinkles don't do too much damage.

Perhaps try some of the cotton/linen Rick has incoming, should resist wrinkles a bit more.  I love blends like cotton/linen, wool/cotton (not shirting usually).   He posted some a few weeks ago.

Linen is going to wrinkle regardless. It's part of the characteristic of the fabric. But surprisingly, this particular linen wrinkles less than a lot of other linen we've seen. It has to do with the weight of these. The body on this linen is pretty incredible.

No, I only have about 8-10 shirt lengths in each of the linen for Custom.

@spiermackay

Quick question about the SF MTM special. I know that you are basing the suits on the Contemporary block, but does this mean that the suit has to be single breasted? Can you make a double breasted suit on the block?
