Unfortunately not. It's a struggle to meet the factory minimums as is at the moment, we couldn't even run the 48R that we wanted.

We can MTO it though.

I think he answered your question like.. 5 posts ago. Believe me, I can't wait for them to stock 48's and 50's but still, asking the same question twice won't get you a different answer.

On a side note, I remember Rick mentioned he could MTO one specially for you in 48L but it won't be MTM, only in RTW measurements. And there will be an upcharge, although I don't remember how many %. It might be worth it if there's something you like in the upcoming collection.

Just wanted to send a quick note how much I love my Soft Casual Chambray.

The material is fantastic and surprisingly soft while remaining substantial. The cut is perfect for anyone who wants to wear a more traditional chambray while remaining CBD. I tend to struggle with this -- how to dress sharp, while still dressing youthful.

Additionally, i have to say that I like the higher button stance on the non-BD collars. I didn't think I would enjoy it, or even use it, but it almost reminds me of the 'air tie' thing that was popular for a while. Not that I'd ever wear it fully buttoned, but it has grown on me.

Either way, two thumbs up to S&M. Keep this one in mind if you need to fill up a future bundled order.

Btw -- I'm keeping an eye out for some new button downs soon!

I just put in my first Spier & Mackay purchase -- two pairs of trousers and two slim-fit dress shirts. From customer service to the cost/quality ratio, I can't say enough how great this company is. I'm looking forward to buying a suit or two in the near future.

Steel Blue Sharkskin

Marine Blue Solid

Lol now if only I could get a swatch sample of suit colors...I can't decide.

Good point, I'd suggested a swatch sample program a while back and Rick was going to look into it.

I bought a suit recently and while I like it, it is a bit different in person versus online.

Diffences in colour/texture is a risk whenever you order anything online. Suit supply is a great example of this, things look quite different in person. I can't imagine a small company making swatches widely available for rtw (is there anyone that does this?).

All that said, I couldn't know less about the clothing/fashion industry and if s&m can provide swatches And it helps customers, great!

@spierandmackay if ordered on your website can you make popovers? I didn't see an option when looking around the custom section of your website.

Also way back if I recall correctly you mentioned having some flannel around from a previous season that could be used for mto, any still available?

As of last summer, you could order popovers, not sure if that's still true.

Was about to order this shirt http://www.spierandmackay.com/product_information/3477_light_blue_chemsford_stripe but it's sold out in my size (16).  Will it be restocked any time soon?

Just for clarity - the first question was whether or not the 4 suits he posted pictures of would be in 48l and then the second was meant to expand the question beyond those 4 that he posted and ask about the entire SS suiting line as previously there was mention of expanding to 48 for this season.

Sorry about the confusion @nickrut, I've had a rough morning that day, didn't mean to sound condescending!

We do our best to set the colours as accurate as possible. Our photographer calibrates all his equipment for every shoot and sets the correct white balance as well as colour corrects in post against a calibrated monitor with physical item in hand to match as best as possible. Of course, if viewed on a monitor that is not set properly, then the colours will always be different. It is a reality that we have to live with when selling online.

We looked into sending swatches, but the logistics of it doesn't really work for us yet.

We can make popovers. Did a bunch of them last summer. Just request it in the notes when you order custom.

We have very limited stock left in the flannel. Which colour were you looking at specifically?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

This particular fabric is out, but we have a very close replacement under production now. Should arrive late March.

Rick, do you have any pics of the popovers you made last summer? Would be interested to see what y'alls pattern looks like when done up. Thanks!

I don't. Customers just sent in pics and we coped them. As for all custom, we can adjust anything and everything, so you can specify the length/width of the placket.
