Hmm, it may take a little longer than I thought.  I've just had an email from Mark Marengo to say that they are not able to dispatch until 7 August as the item is currently out of stock.

It has been very warm lately in the office (luckily I don't have to go in every day) and I have been struggling to maintain the Look.  This was my attempt earlier in the week:

Kenzo Homme part-lined linen blazer / hank from Coes of Ipswich

Polo RL / Balmain

Saint Hilaire / OTC cotton from La Rinascente, Rome / Loake Kew

That's a shame, particularly when I get impatient. Now, please!

S'pose patience is a virtue...

Yes, but I'll mark them down for not stating it was out of stock on their website.

Goodness, I hope not. This is actually a Gant gingham OCBD

And first time the nerve to put a photo on SF

15 minutes later, this was happening

^ well there is pink and there is pink but the overall effect is just about my ideal of pink - not that orangey salmon colour; not that pastel girly colour; not that strong red colour; but that 'watery' pink that has some mauve in it. My polo is of the strong red colour, needs to fade a little I think. Never thought of pink as being part of the look to be honest, not the skinhead or mod iterations of it anyway (though maybe the casual iteration), but as a traditional 'English' colour I think it deserves a place, in the right shade!

A quick impression of colour in each iteration of the look - skinhead, block; mod, linear geometric on block; casual, block geometric on block.
