Gentlemen, you are cordially invited to take part in this week's challenge, ITALIAN conservative business dress - Classico con Sprezzatura. In this Italian Conservative Business Dress style challenge let's look at classics with nonchalance. The more soporific the better. You will wear a suit or odd-jacket combination, a tie of course is encouraged. Key to the look is that the tie is quiet, though you will find less quiet examples (!) aside from that the choice is yours based on the excellent (IMHO) examples set out below which include Andrea della Valle, Diego della Valle, Luca di Montezemolo, Gianni Agnelli, Stephen Winkelmann, and Matteo Marzotto et al. I have long been inspired by this look and have been supported and encouraged by our friend @Ich_Dien and a great recent thread by @crimsonsox please support http://www.styleforum.net/t/379713/italian-conservative business dress Challenge details: Submissions must be posted by 1700hrs GMT Saturday 15th March 2014. All submissions are to have been worn in March, please indulge me this as I am very tight for time this week. The poll will go up directly on Saturday evening GMT and close on Monday 17th March 2014. For the summary post, I will use only one picture per entrant and will therefore choose your first offering. Buona fortuna a tutti!

YOUR ENTRANTS Thank you all, please vote now!
Suit is half italian. It´s a Paul Stuart by ISAIA suit.
A quick rearrangement of my accessories today yields my entry

Rear tie blade longer than the front, oh sprezzatura, be mine. This is my entry.
The weather also feels quite Italian :)

I liked Beppe's choice of brown suede with his navy suit.
My entry - D'Avenza suit. Pal Zileri tie

Buona sera !

Recreating the Marzotto pose w/ similar fit...of course my BD isn't BD'ed.
My entry. I included a full shot because I thought my hair (badly needing to be cut) resembled some of those fine Italian businessmen examples.
Well, being the Northern Italian industrialist fat-cat that I am, I just happened to be wearing this stuff today.
My Friday challenge effort. My inspiration was Stephan Winklemann, the way he wears solid ties with bold blue suits and white shirts, but also the big watch and wrist beads.
OK here we go, a day early.. Yet another blue suit :nodding:

The weather is very Italian, but it is quite windy!
Since you guys have nailed the navy and light blue scenarios already, I've gone the charcoal route. Suit, shirt and tie all from Boggi Milano, which stocks all the middle-of-the-road conservative business dress stuff.
As I am a beginner, I am sticking to the uniform. Cleav, thanks for making a challenge that's compatible with my limited wardrobe.
Navy DB Steed MTM suit, blue and white stripe shirt, silver/grey oxford tie by Hober. Black oxfords are not pictured. Apologies for the usual mediocre photography.

I was wearing this when I discovered the challenge. Not sure if the tie breaks the plain rule, but I'm not wearing a tie nor jacket tomorrow, so here goes. Pulling a Clags pose:

Although I am not quite certain what "Italian conservative business dress-Classico Con Sprezzatura" is here I am with my only bit of Italian clothing (a Gucci pocket square that was a birthday gift back around the time of the Bi-Centennial) standing on Italy. PRL blue blazer, Brooks Brothers shirt (I tried to make one sleeve look longer than the other. Is that "sprezzatura"?), J Press tie, Gucci pocket square, Orvis cord trousers, and Allen Edmonds Lombards......
my submission :) ...i am a virgin to the friday challenge
Some great fits here gentlemen. I'll have a go at this

If it's sprezzatura you want, it's sprezzatura you get . . . ]
and here is my entry. ]
In spirit of the challenge I had a caffe macchiato in the sun down at the piazza in my LP Traveller. I wish you all a great weekend. Andreas [COLOR=A74345]

Here's my humble entry.

I don't have cool enough hair for this one much less the proper attire I don't think. I'll keep an eye on what people are posting though and maybe I can make some magic happen.

I guess I was thinking it had to have a certain look to it (DB and Larger lapels). I know the coat does but the suit was more tame imo but if you think it fits I'll start there.
