First off, VICTOOOREEEEEEEEE!!!

Secondly, this challenge was amazing. Produced some truly outstanding fits.

Thirdly, I x-post the challenge poll in SWD every week and I have noticed that in general they vote pretty similarly to how the MCers vote, they rarely turn a challenge vote upside down. And its not like this was not a close race to begin with, and its not like it turned into a blowout.

Lastly, VICTOOOOOREEEEEE!!!!

Thanks for all the votes, errone!!!

I think Stitch deserved the win. Don't think SWD guys undermined the votes. If he had a terrible fit they would not vote for him at all.

For what it's worth, I don't think the results are bad at all, either in the execution or the voting. I think that Pingson looks most like the older Italian businessmen with whom I've worked, but Sketchy would be neck and neck with him in a foot race.

alright alright alright

It was always between Stitchy and Timo IMHO anyways, they both put up great fits. Let's hope for another interesting challenge this Friday.

Just a bad year, or do you consistently prefer your grapes to be sour?

I'm still keen on learning how one could stop a surge

I wasn't even a participant in yours. I didn't mind it then, but now it feels like a pattern (something which extends before the Australian Surge). Regardless, and sour grapes or no, it's the last I'll make mention of anything of the sort.

Everyone did a very good job of incorporating all the right material elements here - so a big well done to all the entrants - but it's fascinating to me that no-one, not even Pingson or Timotune, Murlsquirl, Sugarbutch or Stitchy, who I think were the best, came close to actually capturing that essence of Italian CBD. Cleav and TTO looked excellent, for example, but still somehow entirely British! This makes me think that's not really about the clothes and shoes, but about the hair (and grooming more generally) and a certain ultimately indefinable cultural affinity that perhaps you really have to have grown up in to be able to carry off, even if you understand all of its components on a rational level. Either that or it's having your photographs taken by paparazzi... "

This sums it up the best. I have looked at all of the posts and there are some spot on looks...Italian CBD to the precise definition. But, it is the attitude and nonchalance that is missing.

As was TIMO if I may say so.
