(rayk @ 15 July 2004, 6:32) Gentlemen: That kalra2411 claims to be Lakshmi Mittal is not a problem for me.  Whether he is who he claims to be or is someone masquerading as a wealthy industrialist shouldn't be of any significance to anyone who frequents a style forum.  After all, we're here exchanging ideas about clothes and style.  Kalra2411 has offered valuable contributions to this forum. As for those who have suggested that kalra2411 use his alleged prodigious wealth to subsidize this and other forums, or make lavish gifts of Kitons to forum members, I'm confident that your remarks were tongue-in-cheek. I've no reason to disbelieve kalra2411, and until his assertion of identity attains a potential of negative impact on me, I will provide to him my trust.  Remember, gentlemen, we're all taking the other at his word.  Let's give the guy a break.
See, this is where I see the problem. I do not find any valuable contribution to the forum through his posts. I just get pissed off because he says things like "I dont know how the lower classes work, you would know better" and the like. This is purely insulting.
I do not mean to be insulting, how is that insulting? If you said I do not know how the upper classes work, I would take no insult

I am really sick and tired of people telling me that I am not Tom Morison.  I am Tom Morison.  And that should be good enough for all of you.  If you don't believe me, come and visit me in my Berkeley apartment.  You can buy me lunch.

Now maybe people will realise how I feel, thank you very much Tom.

Men, we've obviously experienced a collective lapse of objectivity. We're sniping at each other like a bunch of old crones. All of us surely realize that the only possible solution to this conflict is to agree to disagree, and move on. Suggestions have been made, and a poll has even been created, to ban kalra. What a contemptible idea. If we can't beat him with our wits we'll suppress his ideas? Wow.. I'm getting really bad feelings here. Never, never, never attempt to win your arguments by suppression of free speech. I realize that J has the final word in this, but I have complete confidence that he will allow all voices to be heard...even those that are not pleasing to some.

Mittal or not, his posts are stupid. Stupid posts = Stupid person. Here on the Internet, there is not much else to judge a person by. I could care less about upper class vs. lower class. I can give a rat's ass about his silly "money makes right" attitude. When he leaves that attitude out of his posts, I appreciate them. But as soon as he starts mixing things up, my eyes roll into the back of my head, and I start wishing there was a way to punch people through my computer monitor. Edit: Allow me to elaborate. The very definition of a "troll" is one who posts solely to cause an unrest through insult or otherwise. For example, let's take a forum dedicated to black entertainers. A troll would troll this forum by saying something like "I hate black people." Now, let's take something like, I dunno, a forum about clothes and style populated mostly by people earning middle income. No high-rollers here. So when someone posts "I don't understand you lower-class guys" or "You don't know anything because you're not as rich as me" would this be trolling? Think about it.

Thank you, that is precisely how I feel.

Well fellahs... There you have it...casebook study of Attention Deficit Disorder.  Please go directly to www.add.org, do not pass go do not collect 200 dollars. I have been only nice and supportive of letting someone be who he wants to be so long as noone gets harmed on the forum. Typical. JJF

In response to my moron comment, may I firstly inform you that you have a critical misunderstanding of both the simplicity and veracity at the same time of the English language. and also what was being said, I said moronic, not moron, note the difference here, I was referring to the act of behavior, of doubting that I was myself as being moronic, and you were given as an example of somebody who doubted me, not somebody who is a moron.
