Actually the Alden flat cotton laces from the Indy boot are probably my fav on the Bayfield, perfect color compliment.

The new Lake Forest loafer would be a great replacement for the Patriot / Randolph shell loafer part of the lineup. It fits better than either the 606 or 79 last IMO.

Gosh darn if that truffle Mac isn't that best AE shoe I've seen. Really can't believe I passed on the lone pair remaining in my size two years ago. Ah well, I couldn't really afford it at the time...

After wearing them twice I have to say they are the most comfortable AE shoes I own. For comparison - I have black shell park aves that fit like a glove but aren't quite as comfortable when walking. Of the shoes I own, the fit is closest to the rogue but is more compact around the ball of the foot which seems to fit my relatively narrow feet better. At least for me, this is a clear upgrade over the 65 last.

just busted these and a few others out as I hear winter may be coming to the northeast sometime in the next 8 weeks..lol...Bayfields, Longbranches and my MTO Shaker all with boot socks get me giddy! lol
