Took a look last night and yes, there are a few "tan" spots on both tongues.

I saw earlier comments but did not bother to use pliers, file or hammer (so my bad!)

Wore my MTO Shakers today. Only an outsole (Dainite) and insole (swapped poron for leather) change on this. Stock otherwise.

@peppercorn78 great boots

Finally broke out the mto badlands, ignore the lacing...I have them on loose so they look a touch off

OK Gents -

Shell cordovan MTOs are back on!  The stores are doing a limited run of any shoe in shell cordovan with NO UPCHARGE!  Only in black, brown, and burgundy.  I ordered mine from South Coast Plaza - a black Strand, brown Cornwallis, and a burgundy Shelton (like Bl@ster).  Let the MTOs resume!

Edit: I wonder if I could get a brown or burgandy First ave with a dainite...

That seems easily done....

Well without the extra for a sole change since they do offer a dainite on some (not all) colors.

@jzrhwinnj is that really the b34 last? Seems more pointed...can you take some picks of them on their own...I want to mto a odenwald if mto comes back but now curious how shape holds up for a softer leather...

Yours look great and wish I had done one.

So I call the store to get details, etc?

I really probably shouldn't do that...

x-post. Trying to get some thoughts on this make up

Strand
Burgundy shell cordovan
Independence lining & insole
Medium brown transparent edge dressing - Would Chilli edge dressing be better?
Chili normal welt
Single JR sole -Maybe double JR sole?
Wheeling & fudging
Brown slip bead

Maybe medallion delete?
