Actually I was just looking at the Carmina Jumper Boot and it is slightly more than a MTO EC will be so I am holding off on that until after January when I may pick up the Jumper in Paris.

What were the specs and pricing on the last GMTO Dark Brown Pebble Grain EC's? I may be interested...

Also, can anyone comment on how the sizing on the EC's last is compared to the 5 last? I'm an 8C in the 5 last.

Specs:
Brown grain, tone on tone stitching
Brass eyelets with top three speedhooks
Standard leather insole
Brown flat welt
Medium brown transparent edge dressing
Black Dainite with leather midsole
Special GMTO price of $295, no custom fee

The fee now would be SRP w/I custom fee if min 12 orders are reached. So that would be $350 for EC for a GMTO.

350 is still cheaper than 425, though.

I totally should have added the blue ones at that price...

Haha...and several others. Still, the shell Bayfields are outstanding, I'm really looking forward the the merlots...and I do have seven other MTOs yet to arrive, three of which are boots. And one pair of shoes is blue. So I'll be OK.

Can't help thinking about that blue shell offer on the other page, though...

My pair of brown grain ECs arrived this week. They're fantastic. Fit is perfect. And the brown grain leather exceeded expectations (great shade of dark brown; muted grain pattern).

Thanks watchidiot.

Joshua,

There seems to be conflicting reports on whether standard brown cordovan is included in the sale or not. James Pietryka, the Manager of the Allen Edmonds store on State Street in Downtown Boston, clarified after someone asked that it was indeed included. Yesterday, I was told in the Atlanta store that it was not included. Your message above did not include brown shell.

Is it included? I hope so because I want to order a pair of brown shell Dundees. Please let us all know definitively.

Thanks!!

The most recent spec sheet that I received about the event did NOT include brown. That could well have been a typo and, perhaps, accidentally left off the list. I will verify and let you know for sure. Thanks for the question...this definitely needs to be clarified.

I hope everyone who attends these early few trunk shows takes plenty of pictures! Of the shoes AND the honorable Grangaard and Horween!

Mine isn't until the 20th, so I'll be living vicariously through yall next week.

Well that is because it is no longer called brown but dark walnut...and burgundy is now cherry.... :)

Just got the invitation and it states special colors done at regular Cordovan pricing but does not mention styles...

Anyone have any sizing tips for dundees? I'm seriously eyeing the natural shell Design that gatszu picked out. That sounded really awesome except I might opt for a rubber sole

You gotta be joking, Kahuna75! Although Alden (or Horween) has come up with some pretty nifty names, like Cigar, Whiskey, Ravelo, etc.
