Will circle back tonight but It's highly likely I will be dropping off the Shell EC... just need to sell the misses on the idea of picking up two pairs vs one...

I am also one of the shell EC backers ready to move on.

If 11 others say yay, then I will buy,
but for now the uncertainty has me eyeing alternatives.

No love lost. I highly expect another similar boot to come around the GMTO again.

Let's just keep the shell Townley's alive!

I'm definitely in for brown shell Bayfields with a very similar make-up to the shell EC's.  I'm still in need a good country boot for field work.  I may even get 2, if the make-up is right.

I will be in for as we discussed a shell Bayfield if that boot is an option

I wonder if we have enough interest in a brown shell Bayfield with mini lug sole to hit the magic number - 12. Lots of folks seem interested. Then again, lots seemed interested initially in the shell EC. Could we hit 12 or will we stall at 9 or 10?

WI checked early on and Paul G. said yes we can. In fact, the very, very early polling included the Bayfield.

It's probably more of a question of can we get 12 commitments to spend the cash? Or will we fall short?

I could be convinced to order 2 pair with the right make up (similar to make up 1). Even WI was interested at one time.

If you want to get 12 commitments for a shell Bayfield, the first thing I would do is to ask @Cold Iron to post pictures of his shell Bayfields.

Gorgeous!! Who doesn't need a pair of boots like that??!?

Are those Cappuccino shell McAllister's? I have a pair that I absolutely love.

Thanks for the photos.

Now, whose on board?

What last are the Bayfields on?

To Cold Iron - What are your thoughts on construction and durability of your shell Bayfields vs. Wolverine 744LTDs?
