Both of my last two fits were stuck at 17 thumbs up. I only have myself to blame.

try to focus less on the thumbs and more on looking at the fit and seeing what can be improved. smile.gif

You're right. Get better fitting suits and some nice shoes. That should up the game a bit.

also, try a different pose. i dont think the straight, head on, legs slights spread, pose, is the best for you. try with your legs closer together and straighter, more I I and less / \.

that will make the pants drape nicer, and if you stand slightly angled towards the camera, gently leading with a shoulder, it also usually makes for a better pic imo.

Good advice!

I don't keep track of "thumbs" so I am always surprised to find myself in this thread. Thanks for the love, bros.

Murl, if I were you I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Expect it man icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

@Rudals I'd look at the curated thread again. For me, and I think I said it there sorry, that you can see personality/character shine through the clothes. You can instinctively see who enjoys wearing good stuff, it's not forced but wholly natural.

I see that in your posts when you were dining out with your wife, remember?

Look at those again, I can remember lots of us complimenting you on them.

You were very at ease and that burst through the excellent fit icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Very good advice, Mr. Cleaver!

People say I do smile a lot more now and I look different since meeting my wife. I guess it is a good thing.

But the best thing to come out of this is...that I have a good photographer now LOL.

I understand what you mean when you say that "you can see personality/character shine through the clothes" because you definitely are one of them.

I think I am just too focused on what people will say rather than just enjoying wearing my stuff. How foolish of me.

This really is a great batch, lots of winning here.  I think Eliod and Pingson may be my two favorite current posters in terms of stuff to emulate.  And that linen(?) tie in the 16th pic is awesome - if anyone knows the details I think that would make for a great opening weekend of summer purchase!

A very diverse batch. Me like

Just so we're all clear: If you're going to abbreviate EliodA, it should be Elio, as in Elio de Angelis.

This. Though I'm already used to Eliod too, it doesn't really matter that much. @jssdc, thank you very much for the kind words. smile.gif
