I don't think I'm underrated. I think I'm underdiscussed, which may give that impression. It isn't something I mind. @Tirailleur1 once made a comment about this and chalked it up to general consistency in terms of style and direction. When Stitchy or Pingson or EFV or any number of people throw up great fits, they get quoted and discussed. Mine get a thumb and people move on. That last fit, which is probably my best, had two or three comments made about it.
I think discussion in general is sometimes lacking or less satisfying than it could be ("looks good, sir!" doesn't always add much not that it's bad), but I hesitate to make comments, especially about the "greats" because frankly, I'm a noob. For example, you mentioned a too wide tie before, and I actually noticed it but hesitated to say anything. I will gladly chime in more with my opinion on peeps' stuff, if people think it would be beneficial to the threak. I also want to avoid spewing off nonsense when I don't know what I'm talking about and degrading the quality of the thread that way.
