How good can that batch be if I'm not even in it?

How good could that batch be if I'm in it five times (even allowing for marriage)? shog[1].gif Vox would be rolling over in his grave, save for the fact that he's not dead yet.

I am gradually coming to terms with the bitter truth that there are vast stretches of the internet where I am not represented at all

Hard to believe, I know, but there it is.

Cheers,

Ac :)

Señor Crust, you have, at long last, beaten your foes into submission. As a long-time supporter of your steeze, I will stand beside you and gloat. :)

Ac, I am facing a similar reality. It's just...not right.

Shugs, I am living proof that listening to one's foes (on occasion, when they're right) and having a deep stubborn streak will eventually win the day, and I am delighted to have you stand beside me and gloat. satisfied.gif

I was over 100 here again today, so I sat down in the shade for a few minutes on my way to my old school quarterly dinner.  Napps ivory silk jacket, Brooks Brothers blue PPBD shirt, BB#1 stripe repp tie, and BB Signature Tartan pocket square, Banana Republic grey linen glen plaid trousers, Eddie Bauer argyle socks, and Alan-Edmonds tan suede Strandmoks.

In the past, some of the people I was at school with have made comments about me not smiling.  Inspired by the 1972 film "The Thing With Two Heads" starring Ray Milland and Rosey Grier, I am wearing a smiley face lapel pin that I got at Ron Herman in Fred Segal a few weeks ago.

@Gerry Nelson I know I've seen that square somewhere before. What can you tell me about it? It's a nice alternative to plain cream silk.

@Cleav Is that shirt black on blue, or something else?

I finally got weather to wear flannel trousers in. I'd love it if some people could weigh in on the fit of this jacket – though it's catching on my baggy shirt here, and pulling at the waist more than it would with a slimmer shirt, I'm more concerned about the length.

Cleav has to be the best consistent poster of the last year. Don't remember a fit I didn't like.

I'm also really happy to see that @YRR92 fit in the last batch.

Well, thanks man. That is very kind of you to say. I'm just happy rubbing shoulders with the great and good!

What? You doubt the impartiality of the jury?

Are you suggesting that my own picture/outfit isn't actually the one I like the most?!

CJP = whichever outfit/picture of an outfit I like most. I frequently nominate myself though generally don't win (because generally there is something I like more). But with that wonderful lighting, to declare anything else the winner of CJP would be dishonest. Y'all all know I'm a sucker for lighting.

Pretty sure Braddock and EFV have won more CJP's than I have.

Whatever happened to @mcobinad ?!?!?!?!?!

Inconspicuously sneaking your Merc into a fit: draw between justintinkapur and mcobinad.
