I think the whole FU jacket and pant thing works best in the spring and summer for me at least.  I have a lot more colorful and interesting jackets and pants for that time of year.

I'm definitely game for FU pants. There are some decent contenders I could dig out of the wardrobe.

Especially when the womenfolk crinkle up their noses and say "You aren't wearing those are you?"

Whilst on the subject of patterned trousers and summer, here's a picture from last summer.........

^^^ I love madras, almost as much as the looks and comments I get when I wear it.

My wife, who is also a blogger, had to style me for an experiment for her blog.  It involved me wearing a t-shirt and jeans.  I wasn't crazy about it, but I love her.  I was thinking it would be interesting as a challenge to have a significant other pick out our outfits.  Tie required.

I think extremely highly of you, but this is the dumbest idea you have ever had.

Thank you and all, but I'm sure I've had dumber ideas.  Just ask my wife.  Honestly though, I think the results would be really interesting.  My wife has never picked out an outfit for me before (other than this blog thing).  I'm scared and curious as to what she would come up with in a sport coat, tie setting.

:uhoh:  Is that what your wife would have you wear for the challenge?  I imagine she would know best.
