Hmm, hard to say. They seem to come in and out of fashion periodically, and I've certainly seen them on every head/face shape. I've had sideburns for around 12 years straight now, and I don't imagine doing away with them anytime soon.

I think moderate sideburns are good... no sideburns looks funny, and "mutton chops" also looks funny... so about one inch is a good rule of thumb.
