Help : Restore Eastland Up Country Boots

Thread Starter

Hello,

I'm new to the forums and thought this would the right place to ask my question (I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to move this thread to the appropriate spot). I recently came across a pair of Eastland UpCountry boots at a local thrift store for $10CDN. There is some 'damage' from what looks like to be from the snow and salt near the bottom and soles of the boot.

I'm not sure how to go around restoring them and products to use (since there's so many out in the market).

Any advice and or tips would be greatly appreciated to protect them from the harsh winter / snow. Thanks!

I've attached a few photos below.

You can try rubbing them with a terrycloth and vinegar. Let dry. Repeat if necessary. This should be done right after exposure to salt but it may sitll yeild beneficiary results. Welcome to Styleforum MMixtape.
