Socks at TJ Maxx

Our local TJ Maxx outlets appear to have reloaded with high end socks. A visit yesterday revealed cashmere blend Pantherellas for $2.00, and Prada blends for $5.00

The location of the store would be good to know, since 99% of TJ Maxx and Marshalls inventory is local, or at least regional.

+1 How about a clue?

I can't imagine my nearest TJ Maxx having anything by Prada. Guess it really does vary by region.

Better yet, go back to the store, buy all the Pantherellas and sell them to me at $5/pair.

One of the Marshalls near me has no sportcoats, no suits, and no brands better than low-end Polo. One that I went to in Boston has long racks of suits and sportcoats with Barbera Sartoriale and such sprinkled about.

Sorry, guys. The Pantherellas were at the TJ Maxx on 15/501 in Durham, NC and at the Crossroads shopping center in Cary.

Better yet, go back to the store, buy all the Pantherellas and sell them to me at $3/pair. Seriously.

There's a TJ Maxx at Crossroads?

There's a Marshall's in Crossroads. The Cary TJ Maxx is on Walnut street by the mall. I was in there on Saturday. The didn't have any Pantherellas while I was there. To be honest, I've never seen anything but junk in either store.

Just my luck that the one time this store (which is a stone's throw from my office) has something decent, I'm thousands of miles away in London. On the plus side, the Tricker's sale at the Jermyn street store started this morning.

Even better yet,go back to the store, buy all the Pantherellas and sell them to me at $2.01/pair. I can't say why this is the right thing to do, it just is.

BETTER STILL: Buy them all & send them to me along with two-dollar bills inside the socks to help them retain their shape. This way, you don't have to deal with pennies.
