skip this. there's nothing more boring than an art collection of this sort. wow. you paid 5,000-40,000 for a 1/1000 lithograph of an artist that produced a million of these editions over the course of 80 years. even my friends grandmother owns a "picasso." spend the same money on emerging artists at young galleries. besides, if you're thinking of it as an investment, the value of this sort of work by these artists has long since reached a plateau. take a risk on something new.

but if you take my advice, skip graffiti art and all that comic book looking crap too.

I wouldn't advise against skipping Graffiti/Street art IF you like it. There is some serious talent out there:

However, bad advise regarding investment. Don't buy art as investment, buy it because you love it.

P.P.S. To think of it ; Burton should have used this Russian model to play Alice and make it more overtly sexual. Instead of making it (as I suspect) a Disney PG-13 version of Alice.

I wouldn't spend a lot of money on lithos, or prints in general unless they were hand pulled prints of smaller edition size or even artist proofs.

There's a Richard Hambleton exhibit in a temporary space in the West Village.

It has some great paintings from his cowboy series. Stupidly, I turned down a Hambleton some years ago for 6K. Always regret that.
