Just letting everyone know, in case you all wanted to know, about how diverse the cast will be. Complete with gay and alien sex.

But what about gay alien sex? Discrimination.

^ how you must long for the days of all white male casts

Things just weren't the same at the Theatre of Epidaurus after the 1st Century BC. Lost my taste for creative casting then.

I've got no problem with how they want to cast it. It's when they tell me they're purposefully diversifying the cast to appeal to modern special interest groups that you've lost my interest.

If the best lead for the role is a gay woman, perfect. Don't create your lead as a gay woman to satisfy social pressure.

I could care less if they're diversifying to be diverse if it's a good movie

Meh. DS9 was bad, Voyager was bad, Enterprise was terrible. I have a hard time getting any interest in this at all.

Star Trek has always been used as an opportunity for the creators to make an effort to present a diverse cast. TOS is well remembered for such. Why wouldn't the new show continue in that tradition?

I liked DS9, generally. Voyager got tiring. Didn't even bother with Enterprise.

So you care that they are diversifying?

He cares a little bit. But if things change, he could start to care less.

This would be amazing. His musical episode of Buffy called Once More, With Feeling was fantastic as is Doctor Horrible Sing-Along Blog.

I saw Suicide Squad yesterday. I really hoped the critics would be wrong and I'd like it. I am a DC fan boy and I thought the movie was shitty. What a heap of crap. frown.gif

I swear, I think I'm the only Buffy fan on the planet that hated the musical episode. I'm in favor of Supergirl/Flash crossovers, though.

I liked the silent episode better. Nicely creepy.
