I liked it too sans Hunnams terrible performance.

I am not sure why it didn't do better at the box office, it was much better Transformers with better action.

I think they are still set to make a Pacific Rim x Godzilla movie in the future too.

The movie was enjoyable but I thought the ending was terrible.

What part? I enjoyed the ending from what I remember.

I've often thought it had to do with the lack of recognition the film had. Neither the mechs or monsters were based on an existing property.

I liked pacific rim.

I like apocalypse. (Could have been better - but I didn't go in expecting the world either, so whatever) - I'm confused about the timeline though. Is apocalypse before the other movies? Because it's a young cyclops and jean grey. The movies seem to be incoherent on the whole time stream

X1-X3 got rebooted after DoFP so those events technically never or hasn't happened yet.

Right now the current timeline is First Class => DoFP => Apocalypse (each film about 10 years apart 60s => 70s => 80s)

There are still holes and inconsistencies but that is where it's at right now.

Inhumans has apparently been shelved by Marvel.

So I have been catching up on the various CBMs I never got around to watching.
I know I am late to the party but Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises were both very good. Much better than Batman Begins. I was expecting Dark Knight to be very good because of all the Heath Ledger love. But Dark Knight Rises was surprisingly good as well.
Next up - Man of Steel.

They're currently casting a Superman role for the first two episode of Supergirls move to CW.

Really wouldn't mind if Tom Welling reprises the role.

Finally give the fanboys what they want (after 15 years). I would agree.

Heck, Tom Welling could have been in Superman Returns and it would have been that much better.

What was wrong with Brandon Routh? I thought he made a great Superman.

He's already Ray Palmer/Atom in the TVverse.

Or were you asking in regard to SR?

In regard to SR as he said it would have been better with Tom.

I like Routh, but he's not a very good actor. He's not too much of a liability as a guest, like in Chuck or Arrow, or in an ensemble cast, like in Legends of Tomorrow, but he can't carry a movie.
