Jessica Jones started out strong but really started to drag towards the end. They should have had her investigating other cases along the way instead of being so focused on Killgrave. Around episode 10 or so it felt like some of the main characters went insane and started making decisions that made no sense. Overall I enjoyed it, mainly for David Tennant, but I have had zero desire to watch it again. Unlike Daredevil which I have blown through the best episodes several times.

Oddly enough, I stopped watching around episode 3 or 4 also. I don't want to say that it was boring but the characters just didn't appeal to me. Plus, I'm not a huge Krysten Ritter fan to begin with.

So did this movie finally shed light on the mystery of what happened to Bruce Wayne's parents? Or will I have to wait 5 years for the next reboot?

First season feels like a fairly standard CBS police procedural with some slight Sci-Fi elements mixed in, but somehow still managed to be fun. Thing is the show quickly begins to transform itself and by the 3rd season no longer even feels like what it started out as. The Sci-Fi elements rach up as do conspiracies, action, etc. I'm mid way into the 3rd and love it. The final (5th) season starts soon and I urge everyone to give it a shot. Could be the best show on network TV.

Please no spoilers. biggrin.gif

Love this show. Disappointed it's ending, but at least it will be wrapped up properly and not just summarily ended.

Wait, did something happen to Bruce Wayne's parents? I figured they just lived in a condo in Florida or something.

Yeah, that's my whole thing. End a show properly. Don't cancel it too soon, rush the ending or drag it on to death. Keep momentum and finish the story. smile.gif

I feel like there are very few shows that can sustain their quality for more than five seasons.

I just realized something about Batman v Superman
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
That CIA operator that got shot in the face during the desert raid was Jimmy Olsen. They shot Jimmy in the goddamn face because, according to Zach Snyder, "we don’t have room for Jimmy Olsen in our big pantheon of characters, but we can have fun with him, right?” Come on, bro. You don't do Superman's best friend like that.

Was that designated as Jimmy? I figured he was a CIA throwaway character.

yah Snyder said it was Olsen and because they have no future plans for him

but I think that can be ignored anyways since it wasn't emphasized on in the film so if they ever make an MoS2 with a different director, I think they could just cast a new Jimmy

Also, I kid you not, the entire theater cheered/screamed/clapped when Wonder Woman showed up. She was awesome and had such a great soundtrack/theme too.

Absolutely LOVED IT when after getting knocked down, she got right back up with a grin on her face ready to fight some more.

Nothing new but apparently there's a petition going around trying to get Snyder removed from anything related to the Justice League. I usually don't care for these type of things as they do absolutely nothing as far as influencing the studio but in this case, I would sign it for the principle of the matter.

BvS over the last week is like the Donald Trump of superhero movies. Whether you love or hate him, you can't stop talking about him.

The one on the far right looks like House of Cards
