Ok then explain the difference. I can easily point out numorous examples of X-Men being used to push a social "agenda" over the years, so I'm curious what you believe is going on differently in that one brief scene.

Rewatched Mad Max Fury Road for the first time since it hit theaters. Movie might have impressed me more the 2nd time around. The sheer energy at display is mesmerizing.

While test piloting the ESD's first alien hybrid fighter, an unknown malfunction causes the untimely death of Col. Hiller. Hiller's valor in the War of 96 made him a beloved global icon whose selfless assault against the alien mothership lead directly to the enemy's defeat. He is survived by his wife Jasmine and son Dylan.

I loved the first one for being what it was... Dumb fun for popcorn chewing. Based on the trailer they just released for the sequel I'm skeptical this will be as fun as the first, but hopefully it works.

Goldblum has an excellent track record for sequels.

He was great in Death Wish.

Feels weird that Liam Hemsworth is in this one, will he be Jeff's son?

Also, have the cities been rebuilt?

It's 20 years later. I'm sure they could have rebuilt most of them...

I wonder if the aliens have updated their antivirus software?

Why do people always hang off a precipice with one hand? I would have two hands on that cliff's edge as fast as possible rather than dangling about looking at the crevasse beneath.foo.gif

EDIT: And of course the uniforms have to have changed, ever so slightly, again. Can't miss out selling the toys.
