I don't, my guess is it's the first attempt at Doomsday which will be defeated and then Lex will be the final battle with a suit/armor and maybe with even more Doomsday clones. That would also make it more reasonable to have a start of JL members assemble.

Even if that is the final act, there's still plenty of things to see where Bats and Supes becomes best buds!

But there's still got to be a big reveal for the third act, either a Lex suit or an epic JL member assembling.

@Greenfrog I wouldn't worry so much. What they showed has been obvious for a while. The movie was never going to be about Batman and Superman punching each other. That's just being used as a vehicle to give audiences something cool to watch and lead to the real point of the whole thing. Them putting aside differences, teaming up with Wonder Woman who is the final member of DC's Trinity and fighting a big bad for the greater good. This will be the seed that grows into the Justice League.

It's not rocket science and very much follows the path Avengers did:

1. Good guys meet, misunderstand each other and fight.
2. Main bad guy with personality shows up.
3. Main bad guy manipulates things to further cause confrontation.
4. Main bad guy "creates" mindless thing for heroes to punch.
5. Heroes put aside differences to form a team and win the day.
6. Profit!!!

It's a formula that works. There will still be plenty of things watch for the first time when you walk into the theater. You no more have this 2 hour movie completely spoiled from this 2 minute trailer then you did Avengers walking in for the first time.

RFX this movie is about bringing together the Trinity. We will get cameos of other JLA members but don't expect to see a formal team forming. That's being saved for the next big film. As it should be.

The comic-con preview had a darker theme to it that I like. Maybe you can further piece together more of what's happening by watching the two trailers back to back. I really do hope they have enough time to improve of the Doomsday character. Only let down for me visually.

I know it's not going to be a full blown intro to JL but I've always seen them as a more popular XMen, as in the team members are popular enough that they can appear here without much backstory and people would know them. They could also branch off to their own films afterwards afterward which was the initial plan for the XMen after X3.

There's also plenty of rumors, it is actually pretty much confirmed that Aquaman is in film, the Flash actor and Cyborg (pre-transformation) are also suppose to be in this film. Then there's Jenna Malone in a still unknown role. Yes I do think they'll have smaller parts but showing up in the end isn't too far fetch especially if they drop a few hints here and there.

I also think WW has a small part in this, definitely not to the capacity of Supes, Bats and Lex, won't even be close.

Also, Aquamans first appearance...

...in toy form.

I honestly expect them to be cameos at best. The wild card is Aquaman who looks to have a little larger role, but I don't even expect him to be in the film much. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up at the end after the defeat of Doomsday to warn the Trinity of a coming danger bigger then they just fought. Used as a way to plant the idea with the group that they need to gather more heroes and tease the JLA film to the audience.

I expect Wonder Woman to have a larger and more important role then you think. She won't be as front and center as Superman and Batman, but I'm guessing Diana Prince will have an impact on Bruce/Clark throughout the film. Only to be unveiled to them as Wonder Woman at the end when her help saves their lives and the day.

Affleck as Bruce Wayne doesn't look terrible at all. The Superman guy still can't act. Zuckerberg actor playing Luthor is fucking terrible. Wonder Woman just looks embarrassing.

I don't know anything about that particular toy but I would take it worth a grain of salt. Toy tie-ins for movies like this often have stuff that never appears in the film. Considering this is Batman, I expect them to make a lot of one off designs to sell to the young masses.

I heard Suicide Squad and Apocalypse are attached to TFA too along with Civil War.

Nerdgasm overload!

Suicide Squad's the one I am most curious about. Had mixed feelings about the first trailer and I have hopes that this one will leave me with a better feeling about the project.

I will be illegally torrenting this film. No desire to see this.

Another major 2016 release has attached its first trailer to the upcoming Star Wars sequel - Star Trek Beyond. With Abrams producing both films, this announcement was probably more of an inevitability than a surprise. Justin Lin (Fast Five) is directing the latest installment, which stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Idris Elba, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Karl Urban, & Anton Yelchin.

In addition to Star Trek Beyond, from The Hollywood Reporter, we have learned what other trailers will more likely than not screen ahead of the highly anticipated sequel: X-Men: Apocalypse, Captain America: Civil War, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, The Huntsman: Winter's War, Independence Day: Resurgence, The Jungle Book, and Finding Dory.
