The upcoming post-Civil War western will be brought to life by the likes of Samuel L. Jackson as Major Marquis Warren, Kurt Russell as John "The Hangman" Ruth, Jennifer Jason Leigh as Daisy Domergue, Walton Goggins as Chris Mannix, Demian Bichir as Bob, Tim Roth as Oswaldo Mobray, Michael Madsen as Joe Gage, and Bruce Dern as General Sanford Smithers. Also joining the western is Channing Tatum. In exactly what role remains to be seen. Release is due in 2015.

They also need someone older for Jessica Jones. ALIAS is the best thing in comics, please, please don't ruin it. Remember: even at the time of her introduction, she was an aging post-superheroic, still buxom and pretty, but also fading and older, harder and a bit wiser with a bit of an edge. I have more adjectives if you like. DON'T RUIN THIS.

Finally getting caught up on Gotham. Had a couple days off from work so I've been blowing through the season and am on episode 7 at the moment. I've really enjoyed the show so far. You can tell it's been heavily influenced by the (great) Gotham Central series from a while back. It's dark, with just the right amount of hints of comic fantasy mixed in. Penguin has been the real standout of the show too. His characterization has been fantastic so far. Can't wait to see where they take him.

What have I not liked? Honestly, anything that has had to do with young Bruce or Selena. The material is just not working for me. At the rate they are writing Bruce and his frequent interactions with Gordan, I would think Gordan would have to be an absolute fool not to figure out that he's Batman when he eventually appears in the city down the line.

Also, Fox.com's video streaming service is the pits. One of the worst I've seen. No wonder people torrent this stuff even when it's available for free online.
