I'm not really sure anyone wants a Black Widow solo film. She's just not that interesting of a character and had always played a more supporting role in whatever media she has appeared in.

Yeah, agreed. But I think with the fact that BW is portrayed by Johansson, coupled with the success of LUCY, it's been brought up so many times. A few A-list actresses, execs, bloggers, etc. have been pretty vocal about it too which is probably why Marvel addressed it in the first place.

Wasn't Lucy universally panned? I suppose it made some money, but it also was a bad film by all accounts.

I like the juxtaposition of two subtitles with "War" in them

Civil War and Infinity War.

Avengers will have to set aside their differences from the Civil War to fight the cosmic Infinity War

For what it was, I enjoyed LUCY. It was certainly more fun than THor 6: Loki Re-Returns or whatever film Marvel shoves in between Avengers movies.
