I have read as much as I can in the forum and I THINK I'd be an 11D in the Nicks ( http://www.vermilyeapelle.com/products/5-rough-out-natural-chromexcel-boot) but may possibly be an 11.5D. I will do the tracing method and send it but I did that for some White's semi dress and it came out as 11.5 but this was definitely a half size too big so had to sell them. (I'm in England so can't get to go try these on). I thought if I give my sizing in other makes it would be possible for you guys to give me some guidance. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

This is my sizing on other makes:
Viberg 110, 2040,2045,1035 lasts - Viberg size 11
Viberg 2030 last - Viberg size 11.5
Whites semi dress and semi-smoke jumper on semi dress last all with lowered block heel - White's size 11E though can get away with 11D if I stretch them. (Had some 11.5E from Bakers and had to sell them as they were too big, which is kind of why I'm not that keen on the foot tracing method of sizing.)
Alden Barrie Last - Alden size 11.5D
Oak Street Bookmakers Trench Boot - OSB size 11.5 (again got some 12 as they claim their Elston last is true to Brannock size, don't necessarily agree as they were too big!)
Wolverine 1000 mile (why did I get these?) size 11.
I also got some Russell Moccasin South 40 boots from Context Clothing in 11.5 but they are a little too big, think I should have gone for an 11 in those.
Thanks for any help you can give.
In the last your looking at your a 12 from what you listed here no doubt
I'm 10 in Barrie last and 10 or 10.5 in oakstreet and I'm an 11 in the ones you want

Many thanks this is invaluable - I had assumed I needed to size down half a size from Barrie not up half a size! Also means half a size up from White's semi-dress. I just got some Rancourt Blake boots in 11.5 - massive mistake as they are at least a half to full size smaller than all the lasts I mention.

On the contrary, I've had to size down about half a size. I'm a 12.5 -13 on the brannock. Maybe slightly wide. I wear a 12D redwing and same in white's and Viverg 2030. I'm a 12E in most of Nick's lasts but could probably squeeze into a 12D if I needed to on the Robert last.

Oh. This is in line I think with what a number of other have had to do from reading the various threads. I think I'll have to do the foot tracing method! It probably depends on so many things like thickness of socks, personal preference and foot shape. Thanks for the advice.smile.gif

I guess if I'm an 11E or possibly D at a push in Whites, and I am an 11 in Redwing but an 11.5 in the Viberg 2030 (due to width requirements not length and almond shaped shallow toe) I'm likely to be an 11E in Nicks but will see if I can get that confirmed with proper measurements. Don't want to repeat the Rancourt Blake mistake......

I actually was the one who recommended Steve Mowe, the current president get in touch with Cody of the Wranglerstar channel. Wranglerstar was responsible for me getting into these boots, not necessarily the "style" function of them but hell it all worked out didn't it?

I have a pair coming to me in two weeks, should be pretty cool.

They are slightly too big . I def need a 10.5 I could Prob get away with 10 even. I'm not completely swimming in them but with the arches they have to fit right, 350.00 shipped in the USA, they literally look and smell brand new
