A great deal of people at top notch grad schools went to non-Ivy, non-famous undergrad schools. Don't be disheartened.

That's true for me as well. The last year of prep ... I refused to board the flight north. However, I do have multiple college degrees.

It was probably due to my grades, SAT scores & a personal appeal.

My parents had made a habit of sending me to a new school nearly every semester and I was growing very weary of being constantly on the move. Without their knowing it, I had applied to and been accepted by my college of choice.

Did my Bachelor in Norway (Oslo University College, '03), my Masters in England (University of Wolverhampton, '05), and recently started doing a PhD at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Computer Science, focusing mainly on Artificial Intelligence (lately in medical systems for liver and pancreas surgery at Karolinska Institutet).
