I had a tumi and swiss army previously, and as nice as it is, there are 12 other people at my work that have them. Just shows that they are quality bags universally loved at my work.

I was checking to see if there are other brands I could look at. I was looking to spend under $300. Any recommendations? Thanks!!

Brenthaven does a good laptop bag. Nothing particularly stylish, but they made a very, very sturdy bag that was also extremely light.

Coach outlets have their briefcases under $300 I think, and they have padded laptop compartments. Take off the Coach hang tag and you are good to go

If you are looking for Ballistic, I have an mVision and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It is nothing special, but as a "road warrior", its features really help me out. http://ezm.com/mvision_cases/w500.aspx

Check ebay for great prices! Just makes sure it's a computer case one not their standard brief.

And WAYYY more stylish to boot.
