What is the etiquette for wearing spectator shoes? Are they worn only during summer months? How about with suits?

I have a pair of these which I got on sale earlier this year. They saw significant action at a resort in Mexico last week and will likely be broken out with the linen trousers for a planned trip out for dinner and dancing on Friday night.

What size are those shoes? US 9.5D? I was thinking that the shoe tree heel might be slightly too wide given the gap at the top of the shoes' heels and the shoe tree heels?

Those are beautiful Church's. Is that model still available or is that an older model?

Thanks, knittie. I got them on sale in Hongkong last year. I really am not familiar with their collection to know if that model is still available.

These are kind of similar to the Church's. Not my size, though, or else I might be tempted.http://cgi.ebay.com/395-ALFRED-SARGE...QQcmdZViewItem

You know, there's something about those Churchs' specs that almost makes it look like the shoes have spats.
