I have not seen Balmoral boots from CJ ever, so guess they have to be MTO then..., or made for someone else.

I didn't see any boots in C&J stores in Paris. Chukkas only were on the shelves.

I don't know if it is still the case but, yes, C&J Paris used to stock a balmoral boot on the 337 last called the Avebury. Regrettably, it was not available via the English market or via the C&J catalogue, which seemed rather silly to me. WS Foster and sons (as indicated by a poster above) also stocks a C&J-made bal boot under their own name. I assume that it is the same as the French-market Avebury boot.

not sure but it also says 337 last on Foster and Son's website. Would prefer if they made it on 358 last, oh well...
