CAN I BRIBE ANYONE HERE? Those Grenson Balmaloral is available, as has been noted here, from "The Natural Shoe Store" in England. I know my UK size (10) but the shop won't send the shoes out of the UK.

Anyone have any bright ideas on how I can get the shoes in the USA? I'll happily pay anyone in the UK who wants to receive 'em and reship 'em to the USA.

JJL, if I were you, I'd start darkening the leather on those. The red is a little bit off-putting in contrast with the suede, but I'd bet that with time and polishing, you could get it to a darker, browner color that would look pretty good.

I need to do something. I was thinking of dying the suede a darker colour. Dark brown or possibly black? I'm really not sure. I need to chew this over & then order a new pair because this is the only thing that will calm my nerves!

jjl - I recommend you apply Saphir's dark brown cream, folowed by the mahogany polish to darken the leather.
