Care for Lambskin Jacket

Thread Starter
I just bought this jacket - http://www.wilsonsleather.com/product/index.jsp?productId=20452806

The shell is lambskin. It's very soft and has a nice cognac color.

I'm trying to figure out how best to care for it without damaging or discoloring the leather:

First, what kind of spray or weather/stain protectant should I use?
Second, what sort of conditioner should I use, if any, and how often should I apply it?

Can anyone provide advice?

Thanks!

If the leather has been waterproofed then just leave it to dry naturally if it gets wet..

If not, I don't know, as all of mine are!!!!

Feed the leather every few months with a a soft cloth and a good leather cleaning cream/lotion, and it should be fine!!

Remember Lambskin isn't as hardwearing as calf, but if you look after it, and it's good quality (I've got a bespoke navy biker made from gloving leather that the designers own version has lasted 20 years!!)
But, it did cost a huge amount!

Nice leather is a luxury that I like too- enjoy your jacket!

My first recommendation would be to return that jacket.
