I'd like to hear more about the hangers please. What is Kirby like?

Kirby is a great guy. Despos invited me out with him and made the introduction. Recently we've been getting together about once a month or so for cigars and scotch. He's also more than just hangers - though he can talk about them for hours. If you've not seen them in person, they're beautiful. My thing that I've been really impressed with him about is his ability to identify and understand holes that other people are missing. Hangers are an example, but so are socks, and the shoe care stuff he sells. The ice sphere molds and crystal glasses are another thing. I knew I liked my scotch and that a single ice cube makes things better, but I didn't know that my ice was lacking until he brought some with his bottle of Ardbeg one time. There are plenty of other examples. Speaking of cigars, he also has the best cigar cutter. The list of awesome things he finds and puts in one place is pretty rad.

I mention this because he has a knack and it comes out in conversation. As a guy he's very sharp. He can sometimes talk about a mile a minute, and is a great person with whom to just bounce from topic to topic. Especially about tailoring, garment care, and things, he can sustain in depth conversation. I have yet to see him lose a thread in a conversation, and we often have many threads going.

I've always been impressed with how he's dressed. Usually the first fifteen or twenty minutes are talking about what we're wearing like SFers that we are. It's nice to have someone around that this conversation can go full bore with.

Overall, a very cool dude.

You guys know there's a sub button and you don't have to post, right?

People still haven't figured out multiquote either.

For all the CM people: "read in good health"

+1 for Kriby's hangers. And I will find time to start cleaning up my shoes with the kits I picked up, too.

@notwithit I hope you lock that chapstick on your desk in a drawer !

Thank you, @Synthese thoroughly enjoyed your second post with tears from laughter

You're in luck, then, because there's a thousand more.
