Yea I lurked and left a while ago, but have returned due to a combination of graduating from b-school and needing to flesh out my business wardrobe - and really, really, really digging that tie.

AJL, I'd say you did pretty good for RTW.

C&A, I'm interested in CA6, but all purchases over 100 dollars need to be approved by Mrs. Claghorn (actually something I suggested. She took the stance of "you work all the time and earn most of the money, so you should be able to treat yourself." But that seems like an approach that breeds resentment. And I could tell she was just saying that because intellectually it made sense to her, despite it conflicting with how she felt. Sorry for the long aside...this thread was focused on spouses a few pages back)

Well, first, that is a beautiful tie. Absolutely worth tracking down. But I also think that tracking it down it going to be pretty difficult, if not bordering on impossible. I'll look around. But be willing to accept a few alternatives that come close. I can't think of a better neat than a brown base with blue florets.

I've been searching for the past hour with no luck. Best I can come up with is this Hober.

Which is very nice in it's own right imo. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Henry Carter has one a bit closer to the Drake's.

No Man Walks Alone has a brown Bigi neat with blue florets in it. Also a viable alternative.

Murl & Clags (sounds like it could be a bluegrass band),

Thanks for the kind words and positive feedback, fellas.

Betel, it's cruel to show us that tie and only then tell us that it's out of stock.  :-(  Then again, my bank account thanks you.

You guys are awesome. Thank you for the suggestions.

I was able to find the same tie in red,

https://www.robertorevillalondon.com/productdisplay/silk-foulard-12

but hope to still (somehow) track it down in the brown.
