Alright. Uh. So. Serious question. How has America changed since 2009. Y'all's needs to help me with reverse culture shock. I've spent about 2 weeks back in the US in the last 5 and a half years. So. Uh. I know everything revolves around smartphones now, like with apps telling people what's hip and ****. And I see a lot of weird haircuts on dudes with the sides all short and the top all Mad Men. And beards, I guess, are a thing? Do people still wear skinny jeans?
But yeah. Let me know what has changed.
This forum will probably have helped a lot already. It's pretty much my only link to the Western World (besides the Economist. My sweet, sweet Economist)

they passed laws allowing people to smoke that weed and allowing attractive women to roam topless.

Well score two for things that make the world a better place to live in......

Ugh...

The bankers booked lunch at the most expensive restaurant in the area that is filled with lawmakers.
Lesson well learned. Always have a nice SC in my office for times when I don't check the calendar.

As for my company's dress policy, suits are strongly recommended and pretty much everyone follows it, even if they're wearing JoSABanks.

Has anyone figured out the issue noted above. Can't get on at work. Actually that's a good thing! Still annoying. Going off the network on my phone gives me access now. What's up???

It started last night, and it's not limited to phones. I'm at home using my laptop and have been having the problem intermittently.

Cheers,

Ac

"Purging local DNS caches will definitely help and notably Google Chrome has its own internal DNS cache which can be cleared by restarting chrome"

Is what I heard and Google Chrome is good to go right now. So clear Caches!

It happened to me last night on both my iPad AND my MAC desktop.

I even tried to open it on another browser that I've never gone to SF with and still got the same error message.

Works fine today at the office though. Also working on my iPhone.

Don't forget to ask one of them to take a fit pic of you for posting. Bonus points if you're wearing boat shoes with your Dockers, shirt and tie look.

Worked by clearing the Safari cache on my iPhone. The MacBook just magically started working this afternoon, but I cleared the Safari cache there too, just to be on the safe side...

Since I wear dark (charcoal grey or navy) trousers, I think these SCs would do me fine for days when I really need...
...just realized that I can't do odd jacket/trousers.

Likewise, most of my day. What struck me was how much I missed it! Got some work done though...
