Don't like paisley in general
If you're going for a paisley, should be a more earth tone (greenish) than blue

I'm not a huge paisley fan either, I like the blue in it though.  You're right it is too shiny.  Gonna pass.  I put a bid in on this one:

Gotta say Jimmy Richard Jackson (JRD) really has some good ties.

JungleThug seems to like colours that dont know what colour they want to be. I am not disrespecting you at but saying what I've observed here and there.

That tie brand is Holliday & Brown. I own an H&B and find the quality to be on par with Drakes ties. Made in England from amazing silks. Soft lining.

I’ve only got one of their ties, but I agree that it seems to be well made (I’ve also only got one Drake’s, and it’s a grenadine, so a comparison wouldn’t be meaningful).  Here’s a shot of mine from a recent WAYWRN post, with gray flannel and a T & A shirt:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but unlike Drake’s, is it not the case that H & B has never had retail stores of its own?  I wonder if that in part accounts for its lesser name-recognition, which in turn accounts for the low price of used H & B ties.

Interesting that in your photo they have diagonal stripes in both English (upper left to lower right) and American (upper right to lower left) styles.

Cheers,

Jungalo, you have enough country jackets. Pass.

I don't think that green jacket is very nice at all.

Back to quality ties!

Bad rudals!

Stop obsessing over the brand names!!!

You could easily get a NSM suit in the same fabric for about $1k less!!!!!

Also, hate the shape of the quarters on that jacket!!!

Yeah not a fan of that, a lot of those made for American market Isaia's just don't look like they are cut that well. Will be too light for you also if your used to only wearing navy suits. I'd be looking at a textured charcoal or dark grey to start, no checks or stripes, baby steps.

That suit (at least as presented) is not droolworthy.
