Any appetite to resurrect the idea? (UK and Europe)

I am definitely interested. Would be a fun endeavour.

Also, looks like I have found a deal for the tie. Just waiting for final confirmation, but the tie is likely gone.....

I hope it has nothing to do with teabags.

the insertion of one man's sack into another person's mouth. Used a practical joke or prank, when performed on someone who is asleep, or as a sexual act.

At the frat house last night, when Tim was wasted an down on the floor, he got teabagged by, like, ten guys!

Me and Jen were teabagging last night when her mom walked in. Awkward.
...$#!T! never mind!!!

Thanks! The tie went to @TweedyProf for a book he's written (I am an academic after all wink.gif ) and a Drake's square. I am certainly happy with the trade and I hope Tweedy will be too. biggrin.gif

Hard not to be happy if I can emulate Pingson's fits in any way.

These sorts of more social and direct connections are a nice consequence of spending too much time on SF. There are many here I'd be happy to cross paths with, based on our interactions in the Noodle's thread and elsewhere in the forum.

Anyway, thanks again @Pingson for the generous offer. Now back to work!

That's an awesome deal, Tweedy. Anyone else want a book for a sexy tie?

Published a book recently? Looks good though was it fun to write? As I said to Pingson, blood sweat and tears for me.

I've written a few books and I'm working on another now, but more of a popular reader than an academic treatment. My field does not value books as scholarly work, so its a sideline for me when I think I have something worth saying. Journal articles are the coin of the realm.

@SeaJen, I have probably asked before, but forgotten you answer, what field are you in?

The closest to writing a book I've come is a chapter in an edited volume - otherwise it's just journal articles that counts for me as well, unfortunately. I like books as they allow you to be a little more broad on the topic you cover and not just cram everything into 5000 words and few tables/figures.
