Shoulders on that one look terrible.

They're like "roped" waterfall shoulders.

Almost like a "pa-fucked" NSM...

lol... well, keep in mind I tend to be a little hyperbolic because it's fun. But, I don't care for most of the cuts to be honest. I really dislike the Washington, and I think several other cuts have button stances that don't do the jackets any favors in my eyes. High button stances are not appealing to me very much.

The Jort, or whatever it's called these days, does seem pretty nice but if I am going to spend $1,000 I will either spend a little higher and get something I consider that much better or I will spend a little lower on something I'd consider to be equal value or have a slight edge in quality.

The jackets I've seen on the site which are the most visually appealing in terms of cloth and pattern have always been Havanas for me, but that button stance makes me not purchase them.

Why so much luv for SS here without any questions? Why does my wife yell at me for telling her that I am selling all my 38R suits?! She says what about all the memories with the suits?! I want to have a picnic!!!

Clags,
My firm's dress code policy is suits only. But I can get away with not having a jacket on as long as I don't have to attend a meeting or meet someone from outside.

^ again ( and for the last time) you look ridiculous going into the office in a shirt and tie but without a jacket.

presumably because the price point for the quality is appealing and a number of people here seem to look great in them.

there are no such memories aside from your wedding suit.

Mafoofan basically bad mouthing nsm jackets, that the shoulders were off while ignoring expert opinion from the likes of despos. Well, he succeeded coz people rarely post anything in the nsm thread any more.

The last thing you want to do is to give the finger to those giving you good advice, even if they may hurt a little

I think that the top of the notch being in the same plane as the shoulder looks bizarre and my eyes keep trying to make a line there and it looks a bit strange. If the shoulders settle, I agree, it will look awesome. I think the roped+waterfall+self stripe is a little too much going on.
