Road courses. I can't imagine spending all that money for 10 seconds or less of racing.

JR,

this is a better representation of the green Carter. It's a good spring summer tie. Probably wouldn't wear it deep into fall.

Mr Six I like that SC! Deets?

A thought wrt Jungleroller (but also in general):

I'm not completely sold on the combination although the individual pieces are nice. I do think that these city/casual things can look nice, especially in a context where one wears various fits throughout the week. In the overall context of the fits one wears in a week, mixing it up can be playful etc.

But since JR has a lot of strongly patterned SCs and is rebuilding his tie collection, I wonder if he should focus so much on neats as opposed to grenadines, other solids, and some nice wool patterned ties. A rust donegal with this jacket would be pretty awesome; or even a rust/burgundy grenadine (grossa). Just a thought.

Thanks y'all for all the tie recommendations! That's 4 ties that you all have picked out for me. One more coming and I don't know where the Cappelli is.

I think I might have been brainwashed with images from GQ and others but I think I've turned the corner. Here's to you all who helped out.

Re-tie the fucking knot, take a picture, and report back.

(solid combo though *nods approvingly*)

knot needs some work, but that is an easy fix.

rudals please post a pic of all your suits post haste.

thanks,

-the management.

it's kinda hard to tie the knot when the tie is thin and flimsy!

take a second look.
