Those were from the clearance section on the website. Note they are dark gray not black but they might work as dark shoes. Call them.

One of the benefits of the AE's is that they are Made in America, which should align with your dad's position as minister (as the shoes won't be made in a sweatshop somewhere in Asia or South America)

Rudals, keep in mind that different lasts from different manufacturers fit differently. There is a chance that whatever you end up buying will not fit well and may need to be returned. Dangers of buying shoes online / buying shoes in person for someone else.
