Speaking of...just picked up the grey flannel! That suit looks great on MF.

MF, please PM the eBay link. I think we are a different size so I won't steal all your suits.

I like the pattern and colors. You're ok with jetted pockets? I've seen more of those recently.

Fit looks pretty good. Is it tight at the waist? There's a bit of rippling at the chest on both sides. Just the cotton? Quarters are a bit more closed than you prefer, I gather. But nice pickup...where from?

Could I have that link too?

Thread goes quiet as NMWA server slows down...:D.

I, with no money to spend, am looking around at all the empty seats.

Plenty of room at the waist. I think the rippling stems from the lack of structure. The pockets have flaps, but I tuck them because I find them distracting, especially on a darted jacket with so much pattern. Ideally, they would be patch, but those are rare as hen's teeth in RTW. You have accurately assessed my opinion of the quarters. I figure such a light jacket will be worn on warm days, and I'm likely to have it unbuttoned. If I can't live with it, I may have the tailor reshape them a bit. It's a Brooks Brothers in the Regent cut.

Patience...I did look around to torture myself. Glad others are benefiting.

My personal preference would be for more open quarters.

Button stance appears to be on the high side too

exactly this.

personally, i dont like to limit myself to one style shoulder. as long as different constructions look good on you, why not have some variety?

Agree with #1. Button is just about on top of my navel. Perhaps it's the camera angle.
