Good Natured Advice Thread (improving a business wardrobe) - Page 459

none of the 38rs fit. end of discussion.

That was the answer I was looking for!

I will phase these out.

I wanted to grab the last 38R from NMWA but I think I would be repeating the same mistake and no progress.

I know I need to focus on measurements but I believe for Zegna and Formosa, I think 40R is the way to go for me.

End of discussion.

Your thoughts on the belt? My other Zegna belt had too much sheen to it.

I like. I really don't put a lot of attention to belts as long as they are not those Gucci or Ferragamo or LV crap. Dudes around here spend $5,000 pesos on a belt and wear them with a $2,500 pesos suit and $1,000 pesos shoes.

This.

Don't feel bad, Rudals, I have two belts that jrd would hate just to know from where I bought them.

Do any of these fit right, especially on the shoulders?

Sorry for the dumb question. Just trying to figure something out.

Thanks!

Are you trying to trick us, Doodals? :eh:

We restock suits when (a) there's enough holes in the sizes that we can reach the minimum order for fabric to make sense cost-wise; and (b) if it's not the end of the season for that particular cloth.    For example, I don't think any of the spring/summer suits will be restocked at this point in the season.  The 3-season wools either have been or will be when the numbers make sense.

Dang, I want the one EFV wants. What is your second choice, EFV? The farthest right one? I think that's the one I would settle for. :)

To be clear, I'm in for the far right one as long as you guys tell me it isn't ugly. :)

I don't think any of the ties are ugly. The 3rd one from left is the weakest one though (imho of course).

I'll take the second from the left at 25 euro.

Ok, so if I get a decent price we're looking at something like this?

Gave up on Formosa for now and will try to fill other voids. Belts and shoes.

Until then here is everything that goes against SF for my WAYWRN...plus I just took GAS-X.

Just NOODLED Dark Brown C&J Hallam at the NYC store. I tried going thru Cleav's C&J store but my bank wouldn't play very nicely with them. Very nice folks up there. Thanks again, Cleav.

Burn that belt. Burn it now.

I dislike ties 1-2 & 4 in these images. Way, way too much saturation. Claghorn or Cleav sport some excellent sedate tie choices that compliment their navy suits.
