Honestly, it's too short (forgetting everything else). Wears like the 29 inch in you pics a few posts ago. The vent is gaping a bit, button stance too high for your current tastes (which are appropriate). Shoulders aren't as clean as they could be (see Rudals 38 Isaia versus his 40 Zegna). Not a fan of the elbow patches but you'll be seeing those for a while (really popular last few years in Europe).
I say return. This is the thing about YOOX, a crapshoot. My two cents.
Also @luv2breformed , it could just be my eye, but the buttoning point seems far too high.
L2B, due to your posterior, err on the side of long for your jacket lengths. It might be possible for a tailor to let it out at the back to decrease the vent gaping.
Send the jacket back, for sure.
-Too short
-Too tight in the torso
Dang, I thought it looked kinda nice. Glad I consulted you guys before I snipped the tags.
My thoughts were as follows:
1. The buttoning stance is too high for my preference, it's about 3 inches above my navel however the quarters are closed enough that I don't see my belt so I'm ok with it.
2. I always get vent gaping. ALWAYS. Whenever I get jackets my tailor needs to do 2 alterations almost every time. Lengthen sleeves, and let out material in the side seams (on a center vent). I guess I'm just used to it. =/
3. My right shoulder is always messed up. I bet I have a sloping shoulder or something, but no matter what whenever I get a jacket the right shoulder looks jacked.
4. I don't mind the length. It covers my rear, but I can see what Clags is saying about the vent gaping accentuating it . . . Just measured the length and sure enough it's 29". That puts me off it a bit more.
I'll send 'er back, but I'm getting kinda frustrated trying to find a staple patch pocket navy blazer. Thanks for the help guys!
